PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak has expressed his happiness after flight MH192 returned safely to KLIA Monday morning.
“Good work to all involved. Well done to Captain Nor Adam Azmi and his co-pilot Prakash Kumar for successfully landing the plane in an emergency situation,” he said in a Facebook post on Monday.
He added that the quick action of Kuala Lumpur Air Traffic Control in notifying the Malaysia Airlines Operations Control Centre (OCC) of the tyre debris found on the runway was commendable.
The Bengaluru (Bangalore) bound flight that departed from KLIA at 10.09pm had to make a turn back after a tyre in its right-hand landing gear burst during take off.
