Editor applies for stay on court award to Anwar


KUALA LUMPUR: News portal editor Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, who has applied for a stay on a court’s ruling to pay RM850,000 to Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim over a defamation suit, will only know the court’s decision late next month.

The High Court set May 26 to hear the application by Wan Muhammad Azri, allegedly known as blogger Papagomo, after Judi­cial Commissioner Rosilah Yop met the parties in chambers yesterday.
