NGO calls for interlinked piping system to avoid future water crises

PETALING JAYA: The Klang Valley should have an interlinked water piping system that would enable water to be diverted from dams or water treatment plants in the event of a future water crisis, said a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

“That is the way forward to avoid a water crisis in the future,” said Foon Weng Lian, secretary general of Water and Energy Consumer Association of Malaysia (Wecam).
