Utusan seeks to recuse judge from Anwar's suit


KUALA LUMPUR: Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd has applied to recuse Judicial Commissioner Rosilah Yop from hearing the RM100mil defamation suit filed against it by Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Its counsel Datuk Firoz Hussein Ahmad Jamaluddin submitted that Rosilah’s recent verdict in favour of Anwar predisposed a finding of fact that the PKR adviser had a good reputation.
