KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia needs to ensure that its ministries and agencies dealing with security issues are able to work together and have a shared perspective in dealing with security challenges including the threats of transnational organised crimes (TOC).
Addressing a session on TOC in Asia in conjunction with the 3rd Putrajaya Forum here on Monday, Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said it was crucial to address the syndrome of working in isolation, or what he described as "working in their own cylinders".
