KUCHING: A school worker was arrested on Friday over the death of his six-year-old niece a day earlier, said Sarawak police chief Datuk Wira Muhammad Sabtu Osman.
He said the suspect, 46, was placed under a seven-day remand while the girl's body had been sent to the Sarawak General Hospital here for post-mortem, with the result expected to be known by Sunday.
