PETALING JAYA: The Syariah court order should take precedence in the case where a man allegedly took his six-year-old son from his ex-wife’s house despite a civil order granting her custody of their two children.
Johor Religious Department adviser Datuk Noh Gadut said Syariah law should apply as Izwan Abdullah, 31, who converted to Islam, had obtained a custody order from the Syariah High Court last year.
