Opposition wants Parliament debate over conduct of judges who overturned Anwar's sodomy acquittal

KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Rakyat could see a debate between lawmakers over the conduct of three Court of Appeal judges who overturned the sodomy acquittal of Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and sentenced him to jail.

PKR MP Rafizi Ramli said that that the debate should be allowed by Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, as a substantive motion to allow the debate was submitted according to the Standing Orders and Article 127 of the Federal Constitution.
