SHAH ALAM: Despite a seven per cent decline in crime in Selangor this year, the state has seen a marked increase in the number of juveniles arrested, especially for violent crimes.
State police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Shukri Dahlan (pic) said that 165 juveniles, aged between 12 and 17 years of age, were arrested between January and March this year, marking a 10% increase compared to the same time period last year.
