GEORGE TOWN: Two Algerians were acquitted by a High Court here on Tuesday of the charge of trafficking in more than 53kg of methamphetamine about three years ago.
Judge Datuk Zamani Abdul Rahim, in acquitting Ali Seghir and Amar Benbourteldja of the trafficking charge, ruled that the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie case against both men.
