Baby left on man's doorstep with instructions

A BABY, with a note attached to the child, was left in front of a man’s house in Kuala Lumpur. The note read: “He is your baby. Please take good care of him.”

The note also stated the child was born on Jan 30, the Oriental Daily reported. Stunned by the discovery, the man called the welfare department for help.

The department is appealing to the baby’s mother, or anyone who could shed more light on the child.

Meanwhile, the man said he plans to adopt the baby.

>IN a heart-wrenching case of a young boy with a terminal brain tumour, Nanyang Siang Pau reported that he wanted to donate his kidney to his ailing mother before he died.

Little Chen Xio Tian, from Hubei, China, had his wish fulfilled when a transplant operation was successfully completed after he died early Wednesday.

Xiao Tian donated his other kidney and a liver to two young patients, the paper reported.

> A WOMAN in Taiwan, who felt jilted by her boyfriend, gathered four friends to beat up the married man, Guang Ming Daily reported.

She said he had borrowed money from her when they were together for four months but he refused to settle the loan after they broke up.

The woman, 38, claimed she had no intention to harm him and merely wanted the man to give her an answer and return the money.

She and her friends rushed their 43-year-old victim, who suffered multiple injuries, to an emergency room in a hospital in Hsinchu after the incident. His condition was reported to be stable.

The police has detained the woman and her accomplices for questioning.

>A 60-YEAR-OLD woman was attacked and raped while working alone at an orchard in Muar, Johor, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The assailant covered her eyes with a cloth and raped her in the afternoon incident on Thursday.
