Semporna resort kidnap: No sightings yet of gunmen and captives

KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian and Philippines security forces have yet to receive any reports of sightings on either side of the border of the Filipino gunmen who abducted a Chinese tourist and a Filipino resort worker from a resort off Semporna late Wednesday.

As the hunt for the suspects intensified on both sides of the border, 36 hours after Gao Hua Yuen, 29, from Shangai and resort worker Marcy Darawan @ Mimi, 40, were snatched from Singamata Reef Resort, security officials from both sides said there was no information yet on the group's whereabouts.
