PETALING JAYA: The Selangor State government has been accused of shirking its responsibility over the Selangor Islamic Department's (Jais) seizure of Bibles by asking the Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM) to write to the Attorney-General to request for its release.
In a press statement, the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM) said it was disappointed by "the apparent attempt on the part of the Selangor State Government to wash its hands off the matter".
