SEMPORNA: The operator of the Singamata Reef Resort off Semporna town has temporarily suspended its operations following the kidnapping incident on Wednesday night.
The decision came after one of its guests, a 29-year-old Gao Hua Yuan, from Shanghai, China and Filipino resort worker Marcy Dayawan @ Mimi was kidnapped by seven unidentified men at about 10.30pm on Wednesday.
