DAP takes Khalid to task over return of bibles

PETALING JAYA: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim should take responsibility in the case of the Bahasa Malaysia and Iban bibles seized from the Bible Society of Malaysia, DAP’s Ong Kian Ming said.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Ong said that he was especially concerned by a statement made by Khalid asking the society to “show their determination and desire” to get the bibles back from The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS).
