KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has fixed April 8 for deci- sion on an application by Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd to disqualify lawyers N. Surendran and R. Sivarasa from representing Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in a defamation suit over the Lahad Datu intrusion.
High Court judicial commissioner Rosilah Yop fixed the date after meeting lawyer S. Ambiga and Latheefa Koya, who acted for the Opposition Leader, and lawyer Datuk Firoz Hussein Ahmad Jamaluddin, who acted for Utusan Melayu and its group editor-in-chief Datuk Abdul Aziz Ishak, in chambers yesterday.
