GEORGE TOWN: The Russian Government is offering five full scholarships worth between RM100,000 and RM150,000 to students who have just completed their STPM or an equivalent examination.
Russian Federation honorary consul Teoh Seng Lee said the scholarships were for Bachelor’s Degree and Specialist programmes.
“The programmes are for mechanical engineering, aircraft engineering, marine engineering and ship building, aviation engineering and marine navigation.
“The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation and stipend.
“Interested applicants with CGPA 3.20 and above can apply for the scholarships,” he said in an interview at The Star Education Fair 2014 yesterday.
Deadline for submission of applications is April 15.
“Successful applicants will be notified two weeks after the closing date.
“We also encourage those who have yet to receive their examination results to apply,” he said.
