Kadazandusun parties call for increase in oil royalty


KOTA KINABALU: Three Kadazandusun based parties under Sabah Barisan Nasional have made a joint call for the federal government to increase the state’s oil royalty from five percent to 20%.

The youth wings of the three parties - Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Upko and Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) - also wants Sabah and Sarawak's representation in Parliament to be increased to 35% as assured in the Malaysia Agreement.
