MH370 crash: Cyclone Gillian no longer raging in south Indian Ocean


PETALING JAYA: Cyclone Gillian, which previously hampered SAR operations for flight MH370, is no longer raging in the south Indian Ocean.

Malaysian Meteorological Department spokesman Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip confirmed that as of 10am local time, Gillian was reduced to a mere "low pressure area", with wind speeds of less than 63kph.
