KUALA LUMPUR: A statement by Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar in Parliament on Tuesday, saying other communities were 'less sensitive' to statutory rape than Malays, has drawn criticism from politicians and MPs.
At the Parliament lobby on Wednesday, MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said that he could not agree with the Deputy Home Minister's view, as his assumptions were not based on any credible studies.
