KUALA LUMPUR: Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia is expected to make a ruling later Wednesday over Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar's controversial reference to other communities being less sensitive to statutory rape than Malays.
The issue was raised by Chong Chien Jen (DAP-Bandar Kuching), who wanted Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee to refer Wan Juniadi to the Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee for his statement on Tuesday.
