KUALA LUMPUR: Thirteen world events will take place in Malaysia over the next eight years as part of the Government’s efforts to make the country a premier tourist destination.
Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said business tourism and international major events had been earmarked as sectors which could help contribute to economic growth through the attraction of high yield international visitors.
