PONTIAN: The marine police here, in its efforts to curb human trafficking and smuggling around the waters off Negri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor, have nabbed 19 suspects connected to six human trafficking cases since January.
Marine police (region two) commander Asst Comm Zainul Abidin Hasan said this was an increase from the single case reported in the same period last year.
