KUALA LUMPUR: A non-governmental organisation has lodged a police report over two tweets made by PKR vice-president Tian Chua, after the Court of Appeal’s ruling on Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, claiming the posts could spark a “national uprising”.
Speaking to reporters outside the Dang Wangi police headquarters yesterday, Sensible Ethical Malaysian United Team (Semut) president Datuk Huan Cheng Guan said he found the Batu MP’s tweets to be seditious and was trying to provoke readers to go against the Government.
