Association: Justice achieved but more needs to be done

PETALING JAYA: The death sentence meted out on a couple who starved their maid to death should serve as a warning to other employers, says the Malaysian Maid Employers Association (Mama).

“Let this be a lesson to the others to treat their maids well, as human beings and part of their household – not as slaves,” said Mama president Engku Ahmad Fauzi Engku Muhsein. “Justice has been done. It was a sinful case!”
