MCA: Portals misquoted Chew’s statement on funding

PETALING JAYA: MCA regrets the reports in two news portal in which its vice-president Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun had been misquoted as agreeing to a statement that the Government should disburse development funds to Kajang only if Barisan Nasional wins.

Its publicity bureau chief Datuk Chai Kim Sen said the reports were totally in contrast to what Chew, the Barisan candidate for the Kajang by-election, had actually said.
