MoU makes it easier to send water to Selangor, says Pahang MB

KUANTAN: The Selangor government’s decision to sign a Memo­randum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Government on the restructuring of its water services industry will make it easier for Pahang to supply water to the state, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.

Welcoming the move, Adnan said the MoU, which would facilitate the implementation of the Langat 2 water treatment plant project, meant that water could finally be channelled from Sungai Semantan to Selangor.
