PONTIAN: About two million of the 7.9 million recipients of the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) do not have bank accounts, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan.
He urged them to open a bank account, while those who had one should update theirs with the relevant authorities to speed up the BR1M payment.
