Perfect gift: Yap and i.Star Ideas Factory Sdn Bhd manager Janice Yam showing the 42-inch Panasonic LED television that will be given out daily during the exhibition at the Persada International Convention Centre in Johor Baru.
JOHOR BARU: Over 50,000 visitors are expected to throng the Perfect Livin ’14 home and lifestyle exhibition here over the next three days.
The exhibition, which covers a floor space of 5,574.18sq m, features a wide range of products and services, created as a one-stop platform for renovation, refurbishment and decoration needs for homeowners.
i.Star Ideas Factory Sdn Bhd business development corporate communications director Jason Yap said the exhibition generated some RM20mil in sales revenue last year.
“We hope to receive support from locals as well as Singapo-reans and see similar or better sales this time around.
“Visitors stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM100,000 including three 42-inch Panasonic LED televisions just by registering at the event,” he said during a press conference yesterday.
i.Star Ideas Factory is a subsidiary company of Star Publica-tions (M) Bhd.
Yap added that the first 500 visitors would receive a free limited edition Perfect Livin aluminium drinking bottle each day.
Besides the televisions, those who spend a minimum of RM100 could also walk away with Hiker Bochum mattresses worth RM6,990, Milanohaus premium recliner chair worth RM1,990 or RM1,000 cash vouchers from Maxly Land-scape.
Yap also said a customer pick-up service counter was also set up to offer a hassle-free and convenient shopping experience to its visitors, so that customers do not have to carry around their heavy goods while browsing through some 350 booths.
“We have prepared a sand-art corner and children’s colouring contest to entertain the kids while parents browse and shop at ease,” he said, adding that attractive prizes also awaited the young participants.
Taking up to 20 booths, Tat Radio and Television Co was the largest exhibitor offering assorted Panasonic home and electrical appliances.
Its managing director Kuok Ming Le said the 3D Smart Viera 55-inch television was among its popular products which is up for grabs at only RM9,999, almost a whopping RM6,000 cheaper than its usual price.
The Perfect Livin ’14 exhibition, which ends tomorrow, is being held at Persada Interna-tional Convention Centre here from 11am to 9pm.
