PEKAN: Only 10% of Malaysians pay tax and the small amount, coupled with the country's increasing spending, will lead to trouble if subsidy rationalisation is not carried out.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Sunday that, each year, the number of civil servant posts increase and, if revenue did not rise, the country would have to borrow money.
