PETALING JAYA: First-time house buyers should not be alarmed by Sime Darby’s Housing Income Index findings that suggested that one needed to have an average monthly income of RM14,580 to afford a home in the Klang Valley.
According to the former dean at Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Built Environment, Assoc Prof Dr Noor Rosly Hanif, the findings served as a guideline for existing home owners who wished to buy a second or third home in the Klang Valley, and up to Nilai, Negri Sembilan.
