Chew driven by a deep desire to serve the people

KUALA LUMPUR: Her recovery from a near-fatal car accident more than six years ago best highlights Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun’s deep-seated desire to serve the people, said MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

Her official car skidded along the East Coast Expressway near Maran, injuring another three persons in the car, as Chew was thrown out of the vehicle and sustained severe injuries.
