GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Chinese Clan Council will collect inscriptions on the main ancestral graves of the various local clans in an effort to determine when they first resided in the state.
Its chairman Lim Chong Aik said the main purpose of the project was to collect information about the clans’ forefathers so that their roots could be traced.
