PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s success in brokering the peace deal for southern Philippines has received numerous international accolades, including from US Secretary of State John Kerry, more so as a final peace treaty is now ready to be signed.
Foreign governments have praised the contributions made by the Malaysian Government and its facilitator, Datuk Tengku Abdul Ghaffar Tengku Mohd, in statements issued after negotiations on the four “annexes” of the peace talks concluded in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 25.
