KUALA LUMPUR: Drivers should do their utmost to ensure there is no one behind their cars when they are reversing, even as more carmakers are offering sophisticated pedestrian safety technologies to warn against collisions, said road safety experts and regulators.
In 2012, eight children between the ages of two and seven were killed within homes by reversing vehicles.
