KUALA LUMPUR: For Bollywood superstar Datuk Shah Rukh Khan, being in Malaysia is like a homecoming.
“I want to say to all my co-performers, welcome to Malaysia, because this is my country,” he said.
“King Khan” is here for the Temptation Reloaded concert tonight.
He will be joined on stage by Bollywood stars Madhuri Dixit and Rani Mukherji, as well as bhangra-rapper Yo-Yo Honey Singh, singer Arjit Singh and actor Meiyang Chang.
The concert is expected to be an extravaganza packed with song, dance and drama.
“For three hours (tonight), I hope to take all of you away from your daily worries and show you a wonderful time,” Shah Rukh told a press conference yesterday.
He said he had enjoyed all his visits to Malaysia, thanks to the outpouring of affection he received while in the country.
Madhuri, who was also at the press conference, said she was thrilled to be in Malaysia for the show as this was her first visit to the country.
“And of course, it’s even better because it is with Shah Rukh, who is one of my favourite co-stars,” she said.
Organised by 2Spicy Entertainment, Temptation Reloaded is supported by Malaysia Major Events, a division of Malaysia Convention And Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) under the Tourism and Culture Ministry.
