PETALING JAYA: Legendary guitarist Steve Vai is set to rock Kuala Lumpur next month!
Vai made the announcement on his official website and he is expected to perform at the KL Life Centre on March 22.
Ticket prices for the concert have also been announced. Tickets are categorised into free standing RM399 (The Pit), RM299 (Rock Zone) and RM199 (Regular).
Early bird sales will start Feb 16 onwards with 20% discount for the first 300 tickets. First 100 of The Pit ticket buyers will get a limited edition poster for free.
Vai, 53, got his first big break wit Frank Zappa from 1980 to 1982.
He began his solo career in 1983 and since then, he has released eight solo albums, among them Passion and Warfare and Fire Garden. He won three Grammy awards.
The guitarist has also toured with Public Image Ltd, David Lee Roth and Whitesnake, and G3 a conglomerate featuring himself, Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson.
