Couple charged with five counts of illegal logging


IPOH: A couple have been charged at the Sessions Court here with five counts of illegal logging involving RM5mil in losses in the Bukit Kinta forest reserve four years ago.

Company director Leow Fah Yong, 42, and his wife, Yew Wai Peng, 41, a site manager, pleaded not guilty to the offences, which were committed between 8am and 6pm from January to March 6, 2010.
