KUALA LUMPUR: The dramatic increase in the number of cancer cases is a clarion call that lasting lifestyle changes are necessary, said National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) on Tuesday.
Cancer cases jumped 17 percent from 32,000 in 2008 to 37,400 in 2012, and this number is expected to rise to 56,932 by 2025, or a 52 percent increase compared to 2012.
