Slain cop went out to collect money, says mum

KLANG: L/Kpl T. Thivakar, 37, who was found murdered on Tuesday, was going to meet a friend who owed him money when he was last seen by his mother.

“Last time I saw him, he said he was going to see a friend who owed him RM4,000 around 2pm that day,” M. Selama, the mother of the Bukit Aman Special Branch officer, said when met at his wake at the family home in Taman Bayu Perdana, Klang yesterday.
