PETALING JAYA: Poorly maintained low- and medium-cost apartments are among the major dengue hotspots, and these need help to clean up, says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.
He said local authorities should step in because many joint management bodies (JMB) did not have the funds to maintain common areas. “And, these can easily degenerate into mosquito breeding grounds,” he added.
