Another row in T-Team as player blames assistant coach

PETALING JAYA: Terengganu football club T-Team went from one quarrel to another after its player Irfan Ghani blamed his own assistant coach for the team’s no-show in the second half of the FA Cup second round match against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).

The defender, who is from Johor, claimed that it was Azlan Johar who stopped them from taking to the field at the Larkin Stadium last Saturday after a fracas in the tunnel as the teams were walking into the dressing rooms for half-time. Azlan, however, hit back, saying Irfan was “talking rubbish”.
