CYBERJAYA: Satellite operator Measat Global Berhad will be sending its sixth satellite to space in May, a move that could improve data services especially to rural areas in Malaysia, says Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
The US$370mil (RM1.25bil) Measat 3-b project will also serve other markets in the region, including Brunei, Indonesia, India and Australia.
