GEORGE TOWN: Two policemen entering their defence in a bribery trial here denied receiving a RM400 bribe as an inducement not to take action against two female Chinese nationals.
Sjn Yang Ghazali Abu Hanifah, 58, told the Sessions Court here that he and L/Kpl M. Vathumalai, 52, were patrolling Lorong Madras when they chanced upon two women and asked them to produce their passports.
