Mega transport builders ensuring their sites free of mosquito larvae

PETALING JAYA: Both Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) and Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) are making sure that their construction sites are not breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

“We have drawn up a standard operating procedure, which requires that all plastic barriers or New Jersey Barriers filled with water are sealed with caps to prevent insects, especially mosquitoes, and any unwanted debris from entering,” said MRT Corp strategic communications and public relations director Amir Mahmood Razak.
