BUTTERWORTH: A motorcyclist died after he fell from his machine on the Penang Bridge and was run over by a trailer.
Crane operator Radzuan Idris, 31, was going to work on the island when the tragedy occurred.
Central Seberang Prai deputy OCPD Supt Baharom Abu said Radzuan, from Sik in Kedah, was trying to avoid a faulty motorcycle that had stopped on the motorcycle lane during the 8.45am incident yesterday.
Radzuan lost control and was thrown off his motorcycle. He was run over by a trailer which could not avoid him.
Supt Baharom said Radzuan died on the spot. His body has been sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for a post-mortem.
