PETALING JAYA: DAP must explain why it is allowing PKR to use the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) as a platform to award or kick out political appointees, said MCA Youth chief Chong Sin Woon.
“Where was DAP when PKR was using PKNS as its sacrificial lamb?” he asked.
He said this in response to the power struggle that resulted in PKR deputy president Azmin Ali’s position on the board of directors of PKNS remaining in limbo.
“Khalid’s demand to get Transparency International and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to probe the incident is an example of misusing public institution to settle their personal discord,” he said.
Chong added that DAP had three state executive councillors in Selangor, but “they have not exercised their political influence to stop the entire fiasco even though it involves the interest of the public as PKNS is the state’s investment arm”.
