NUSAJAYA: Despite a major spike in criminal appeal cases nationwide, there have been no disruptions in proceedings so far.
Although the Attorney-General had admitted that they did not have a “comfortable” number of deputy public prosecutors (DPPs) to handle the additional cases of criminal appeals, their workload was still manageable, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri.
