WELLINGTON: Hundreds of aftershocks have shaken central New Zealand since a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck on Monday and more are to come, government geologists warned Tuesday.
The quake was centered 15 km east of the small rural town of Eketuna at a depth of 33 km, Xinhua news agency reported.
