‘Tagal’ helps villages catch tourists

KOTA KINABALU: A community-based river conservation effort initiated in Sabah has brought more than just bountiful catch during the occasional harvest.

Tourism activities have also flourished at some local communities where the conservation effort locally known as tagal had been initiated.
